People nowadays are afraid of corona virus. Many people are dying. Many are afraid of acquiring the disease. Many countries are on lockdown to prevent the spread of the virus. Here in the Philippines, we have the ECQ or the enhanced community quarantine. We cannot go out unless to buy food, medicine or in cases of emergency. Social distancing is adviced and social gatherings are prohibited.
It has been weeks that churches were closed and families were told to have their sunday worship at home. For people who are not used to having their alone time with the Lord, it is hard and they might spend their time in other things. Prayer, worship and bible reading are not during sundays or in church only. It is the very life of a true christian. True christians can’t live a day without prayer, worship and bible reading. We are the living body of Christ and we are the Church. Wherever or whatever our circumstances are, the Lord deserves to be honored and glorified.
These days are the beginning of birth pains. More difficulties are coming. What must be the attitude of every christian? We must not panic or be afraid as if we are surprise by all these difficulties. Jesus said that before He comes, difficult days will happen first. These things that are happening mean that the coming of the Lord is near. Instead of having fearful hearts, we must have courageous and joyful hearts.
During my prayer time, the Lord told me not to let our emotions rule during these times. But we must think wisely.
We must understand what the Lord’s will is. What is the will of the Lord? We must look unto Him and stop following false prophecies. There are many false prophecies right now deceiving people. We must let our ears inclined to hearing His true voice and His words must be written in our hearts in order to avoid deception. Now is the time to spend more time and stay in His presence.
