Walk in the light

“This is the message which we have heard from Him and declare to you, that God is light and in Him is no darkness at all.” 1 John 1:5

God is light. He does not only gives light but He is light Himself. There are many interpretation of this verse. The most familiar is that God is righteous, holy and just. Light symbolizes goodness, and God is good. It is contrary to darkness which represents Satan, evil and sin. Father God gave Jesus to save us from darkness and bring us into the light.

As Christians, we know that God saved us from the darkness. He saved us and cleansed our sins. Salvation is a one time event when we accepted Jesus as our Savior. Yes, we are saved. But we are still being saved. In our day to day walk as Christians, we will discover that God continues to save us. He saves us from our besetting sins. He continue to transforms us and change us to become like Jesus. He also saves us despite of our wrong choices and turn our mess into a message. He gives us light when we don’t know the way or whenever we lose track. He is always a one-call away God when one of His children cries for help. He never turn away His ears to the prayer of a repentant heart. There are countless of good things that we will know about the Lord. We will know the Lord intimately through prayer and through our life’s circumstances.

“He who says he is in the light, and hates his brother, is in darkness until now. 10 He who loves his brother abides in the light, and there is no cause of stumbling in him. 11 But he who hates his brother is in darkness and walks in darkness, and does not know where he is going, because the darkness has blinded his eyes.” 1 John 2:9-11

In the above verses, it is possible for a Christian to live in darkness if he allows hate to remain in his heart. Living in darkness means that “he does not know where he is going and he is blind”. Unforgiveness and hatred can dim our way. If we allow resentment to stay in our hearts, we will eventually lose our track as Christians. We will not know what to do or where to go anymore. We will be walking in circles. The Lord doesn’t want us to live in this kind of darkness. His will is for us to have our vision as clear as the day because He is light. The Lord will put us aside and we will not be fruitful if we still have hatred. The Lord desires our hearts to be changed first before we can minister to Him and to others. God regards a broken and contrite heart more important than the service that we do for Him. We cannot continue to minister and serve the Lord if we still carry this sin. God wants us to forgive and to never hold grudges. He is a forgiving God and He wants us to always forgive too. He is a loving God and He wants us to love always. We can hate the sin as long as we want but we should not hate the person. We must have the eyes that see a person as the Lord sees them.

If we are in the darkness, there’s no other way out but to call to the Lord for help. He is a Light God. When we call on Him sincerely, He is full of lovingkindness and He is always ready to help. He is the only one who can enlighten our dark paths. He can enlighten our minds and hearts. He will give us wisdom through His Word. It is very important to always pray and read His Word (Bible). We must always walk in the Light because He is Light.

Do not be afraid

People nowadays are afraid of corona virus. Many people are dying. Many are afraid of acquiring the disease. Many countries are on lockdown to prevent the spread of the virus. Here in the Philippines, we have the ECQ or the enhanced community quarantine. We cannot go out unless to buy food, medicine or in cases of emergency. Social distancing is adviced and social gatherings are prohibited.

It has been weeks that churches were closed and families were told to have their sunday worship at home. For people who are not used to having their alone time with the Lord, it is hard and they might spend their time in other things. Prayer, worship and bible reading are not during sundays or in church only. It is the very life of a true christian. True christians can’t live a day without prayer, worship and bible reading. We are the living body of Christ and we are the Church. Wherever or whatever our circumstances are, the Lord deserves to be honored and glorified.

These days are the beginning of birth pains. More difficulties are coming. What must be the attitude of every christian? We must not panic or be afraid as if we are surprise by all these difficulties. Jesus said that before He comes, difficult days will happen first. These things that are happening mean that the coming of the Lord is near. Instead of having fearful hearts, we must have courageous and joyful hearts.

During my prayer time, the Lord told me not to let our emotions rule during these times. But we must think wisely.

We must understand what the Lord’s will is. What is the will of the Lord? We must look unto Him and stop following false prophecies. There are many false prophecies right now deceiving people. We must let our ears inclined to hearing His true voice and His words must be written in our hearts in order to avoid deception. Now is the time to spend more time and stay in His presence.

Upon this rock I will build My church

Matthew 16:18-19 (NLT) “Now I say unto you that you are Peter (which means rock), and upon this rock, I will build My church, and all the powers of hell will not conquer it. And I will give you the keys of the Kingdom of heaven. Whatever you forbid on earth will be forbidden in heaven, and whatever you permit on earth will be permitted in heaven.”

Peter was a fisherman. His birth name was originally Simon, son of Jonah. Jesus called him to be His disciple so he could become fisher of men. Simon’s name was changed into Peter because He was the disciple who declared the true identity of Jesus.

“Upon this rock, I will build my church..” Jesus spoke these words to Peter. What made Jesus say this to Peter? When Jesus asked His disciples who they think He is, it was Peter who answered “You are the Messiah, the Son of the living God.” Jesus said that Peter was blessed because it was Father God who revealed this to him and not from any human being. Jesus said that Peter was the rock and upon this rock, He will build His church. Some interpret this as Peter being the head of the church. But if we read the Acts of the Apostles, Peter became the apostle of the Jews and it was Paul who became the apostle of the Gentiles. Peter proclaimed Jesus as the Savior to the Jews. It was Paul who was used by the Lord to proclaim that salvation is not only for Jews but for all people, even the Gentiles.

What then, is this church that Jesus built upon Peter? It was not on the person (Peter) but on the declaration of Peter. It is the church who believes that Jesus is the Messiah, the Son of the living God. The church that was built on the rock is the church that was built on Jesus. The “rock” symbolism refers to Christ. He is the foundation, the chief-corner stone. Many churches are proclaiming that they are the church that Jesus built. Some even believe that they are the only true church. But the true church of Jesus is the people who believe that salvation comes through Him and only Him.

“The powers of hell will not conquer it..” Even all the powers of hell cannot conquer the church of Jesus. People who believed in Jesus as the Messiah are more powerful than the devil. Satan always does his best to make Christians lose their faith in Jesus. But the true Christians, who knew who Jesus is, will never be conquered even by great trials and sufferings. We are always on the winning side, because we have Jesus.

“Everyone then who hears these words of mine and does them will be like a wise man who built his house on the rock. 25 And the rain fell, and the floods came, and the winds blew and beat on that house, but it did not fall, because it had been founded on the rock.” Matthew 7:24

“Truly my soul silently waits for God; From Him comes my salvation. He only is my rock and my salvation; He is my defense; I shall not be greatly moved.” Psalm 62:1-2

“I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven. Whatever you forbid will be forbidden, whatever you permit, will be permitted” These words are so powerful. It gives us, Christians, the authority to forbid things or permit things to happen. We can pray anything to the Lord and declare it by faith and it will happen. Jesus gave this authority to His body, the church. He gave us the authority to forbid and permit and it must be in accordance to His will.

JESUS FEEDS MORE THAN 4000

One character that I always admire of Jesus is His compassion to people. There were two events wherein Jesus fed thousands of people.  He fed 5000 people with five loaves of bread and two small fishes. He also fed 4000 people with seven loaves of bread and few fishes. This story in Mark 8 gave me another hope and reminded me of God’s purpose in my life.

the-bread-medium

When I became a Christian and surrendered my life to Jesus, I have prayed that my life would be useful for His cause and for His glory. I don’t want my life to be wasted. My life is precious because it was bought by the precious blood of Jesus. I don’t want to live an ordinary life that most people do. I don’t want to just live and die. I want a life that will bring honor and glory to my Lord. The Lord heard my prayer and gave me spiritual gifts. When Jesus gave you spiritual gifts, you have the responsibility to use it. There is a story in the Bible that the Lord gave each person the amount of gifts that they can use. We should not hide those gifts because we will give an account to God when the time comes. We want to hear Him say to us, “Good and faithful servant”.

As much as I wanted to be of use to my Lord, the enemy also does his job to steal my life’s purpose and mission. He discouraged me and he filled my thoughts with lies that almost sounded like truth. I doubted myself.  I pitied myself for being the only one in my place “who sees” through visions and dreams. I felt alone because it seems like no one can understand me. I have used my courage to tell them what I see only to get a “that’s a deception from the enemy.. it will never happen” response. Eight months had passed and I sulked myself believing that I am a false one. That all I see are deceptions and not real. But even during our trials, the Lord still sees and in control. He can turn our trials into a testimony.

The first vision that I had after these months of despair was my Jesus. I met my Lord and we sat on stones. He did not discuss to me the things that I am going through but, rather, with love and compassion, He gave me bread and said, “Eat my child.” The vision ended quickly but that few moments with Him took away my entire burden and my fears and gave me a new strength.  This encounter reminded me of who Jesus is. That He is a God whose yoke is easy and burden is light. He is a God who is full of love to His children. He is a God who comforts us and loves us unconditionally despite all our weaknesses and shortcomings. He is a God of love.

Jesus is different from the enemy. Satan always condemns us and steals our joy. Jesus loves us and gives us strength. Even though Satan’s voice is deceitful, we shouldn’t listen to his lies. It is very important for every christian to be in constant fellowship with Jesus.

My best friend confirmed the Lord’s message by giving me Mark 8:1-8. She said that Jesus wants me to read those verses. When I read those verses, it reminded me of my bread encounter with Jesus. He wants me to feed people with His Word. What stricken me was not those verses, but the verses that follows Mark 8:1-10. Mark 8:11-13 is about the story when some people doubted Jesus authority. They wanted signs and miracles from Jesus. They won’t believe unless they got a sign from Him. Mark 8:14-21 is about the disciples who misunderstood Jesus. Jesus warned them about the yeast of the Pharisees and the yeast of Herod. The disciples thought that it was about bread.

My heart was moved by those verses. Jesus wants me to know that I’m not alone. Jesus wants to tell me that He also experienced the things that I am experiencing. People doubted Him and misunderstood Him. He knew the feeling. He knows my feeling. He wants me to take courage and continue the work of feeding people. He lifted me from the mire of despair. The Lord is always true to His Word. The Bible says “that God, who began the good work within you, will continue His work until it is finally finished on the day when Christ Jesus returns.” Philippians 1:6

The Lord will not let us be defeated by the enemy. He always helps His children. Let us continue to do the work that the Lord entrusted to us, remain hopeful, joyful, obedient and in constant fellowship with God.

The man of God and the old prophet (1 Kings 13)

The next day after I had a vision from the Lord about the power that He will pour out to the last-day saints, I browse my bible and He led me to 1 Kings 13. The chapter is about the man of God who went to Bethel to speak against King Jeroboam and to the priests who are burning incense at high places. The Lord commanded the man of God not to eat or drink anything in that place and not to go back the same way he came to Bethel. At first, the man of God is determined and refused the offer of the king. But while he is resting under a tree, an old prophet came to him and lied to him. The old prophet said that an angel came to him to bring the man of God to his home and give him something to eat. The man of God believed the old prophet. While they are inside the house, the Lord spoke to the old prophet. He said that the man of God disobeyed the Lord and there is a consequence. On his way home, the man of God was killed by a lion.

The old prophet heard from the people that the man of God was dead. He carried the man’s body back to the city and buried him. When King Jeroboam heard the news, he continued doing evil things. After reading this chapter, I was wondering why the man of God was the only one who was punished for his disobedience. The old prophet who lied to him must be punished too. While I was pondering on this, the Lord spoke to my heart about the importance of obedience. It is very important for every man of God and every prophet of God to obey every word of the Lord. It is because the anointing of God is on the head of the prophet. Any man of God or prophet should not disobey God in front of people. The people in Bethel knew that the Lord commanded the man not to eat or drink in their place. But the man of God disobeyed the Lord. The Lord won’t allow any prophet or man of God whom He used to speak His words to show a bad testimony. No matter who tells you to disobey the Lord, whether it is an angel or a fellow prophet, you should stick to what God has told you to do. This is the reason why the man was killed by the lion.

One of my fears before is not telling others about the words that I hear from the Lord. It is because I have experienced the feeling of rejection. It is hard when others don’t believe you. There is a reason why the Lord led me to read this chapter after I regain the gift of hearing. The Lord wants me to realize the importance of obeying Him, and that I have to set aside my fears and have the boldness to speak. I should cast out the fear of not being listened to. The job of every prophet of God is to speak what he/she hears from the Lord not minding whether someone believes or not. Oh my Lord, I want to obey You because hearing Your voice again is sweeter to me and brings joy to my heart.

GOD’S POWER IN THE LAST DAYS

These past days, the Lord is drawing me near to Himself like never before. My heart is joyful whenever I got to spend my quiet time in the Lord’s presence. It makes me want to go home early from work or go to church for prayer. Praise the Lord! Thank You Holy Spirit for not giving up on me. It’s been a long time since I write something for the Lord. I went to the period that many Christians called “the wilderness” or the “dark night of the soul”. It is hard being in this period but I thank the Lord for raising my soul up again. This stage of my spiritual life is like the dry season because this is the time that I struggled in many things and never seen a single vision from the Lord. Yet, I trust the Lord because I know that He loves me and I know that this season has a purpose. For those Christians who are in this stage right now, I encourage you not to give up and trust the One who will finish the good work that He began in you.

In one of my quiet time with the Lord, after years of dry season, at last, He again opened my eyes and showed me something that strengthened my spirit. I was crying and pouring my heart unto Him and all I want is to be in His presence and to do His will. The Lord’s message to me while I was praying is about His power. He used many men and women in the past to do His will. He demonstrated His saving power through those people. Those people are already resting and waiting in heaven. I asked the Lord on how we, the last days Christians, will able to do what those men did in the past.  “We are weak Lord. Will you give us a double portion of their power like Elisha had before?” The Lord smiled and said, “No, not double power.” He hold my hand and said, “Come and see..” At first the Lord, let me see double, and then triple, and then quadruple and it goes on and on without stopping. I was amazed and I can’t believe what I see. The Lord will not give a double portion of power to the last-days Christians. He will pour out His power mightily. Hallelujah! The Lord always saves His best wine for last. The last-day church, the last-day Christians will be mightier, stronger and powerful and with greater revelations from God.

“God is awesome in His sanctuary. The God of Israel gives power and strength to his people.” Psalm 68:35

“He gives power to the weak and strength to the powerless.” Isaiah 40:29

“But as the Scriptures say, “No one has ever seen, no one has ever heard, no one has ever imagined what God has prepared for those who love Him. But God has shown us these things through the Spirit. The Spirit knows all things. The Spirit even knows the deep secrets of God.” 1 Corinthians 2:9-10

The Lord will use an army of humble sheep who turned away from sin and worldliness and remained pure, holy, and obedient and set-apart for this purpose. They are not the lukewarm Christians, but hot as they are the ones who came from His presence in prayer and are intimate with the Lord. They will work for God and will never be afraid of sharing about Jesus. They will be accompanied by the Holy Spirit who will manifest signs, wonders and miracles. They will become God’s harvesters.

We serve a mighty, awesome God whose power is without limit. Let us prepare ourselves and become servants who are ready and equipped by the Holy Spirit for the last days.

To Display His Glory

“And once again I will harden Pharaoh’s heart, and he will chase after you. I have planned this in order to display my glory through Pharaoh and his whole army. After this the Egyptians will know that I am the Lord!” Exodus 14:4

The Lord God can deliver the Israelites from Egypt in an easier way but He did not do it. He did not lead them along the main road that runs through the Philistine territory, even though that was the shortest route. Instead, He led them in a roundabout way through the wilderness toward the Red Sea. (Exodus 13:17-18)

The Lord can even make the Pharaoh’s heart to be kind to let His people go, but He did not. He has a reason and it is to display His glory to Pharaoh and to Egypt. The stories in the Old Testament about the Israelites have spiritual meanings. We can learn on how the Lord handled them physically and relate it to our lives on how the Lord handles us spiritually and molds us to become more like Him.

The road to life is a narrow and difficult road. It is the road that the Lord wants us to take. Christians may face a lot of hardships. It is part of our journey. The Lord’s purpose for it is not to discourage us but to display His glory to the world so that unbelievers will know that He is God. We may face Pharaoh who represents the world. Pharaoh might be your boss at work or people who persecute you and pull you down. Pharaoh may represent problems that you are encountering right now. The Lord hardens Pharaoh’s heart and the Lord planned it to display His glory. We must have Jesus living inside of us so that Pharaoh and the world will know that we have our God who transforms our character and our whole being into His image and likeness. The world will know that we have the fruits of the Holy Spirit manifesting in our character despite of what is happening to us. The world will know that our God is the true and living God because He rescues us, helps us and delivers us. The Lord’s glory will be displayed as we continue to obey the Lord and submit to Him in all things.

May the Lord’s glory be displayed in our lives every day and every circumstances we are facing.

FIGHT THE GOOD FIGHT

“The LORD will fight for you, and you have only to be silent.” Exodus 14:14

“You shall not fear them, for it is the LORD your God who fights for you.” Deuteronomy 3:22

“When you go out to war against your enemies, and see horses and chariots and an army larger than your own, you shall not be afraid of them, for the LORD your God is with you, who brought you up out of the land of Egypt. 2 And when you draw near to the battle, the priest shall come forward and speak to the people 3 and shall say to them, ‘Hear, O Israel, today you are drawing near for battle against your enemies: let not your heart faint. Do not fear or panic or be in dread of them, 4 for the LORD your God is he who goes with you to fight for you against your enemies, to give you the victory.”Deuteronomy 20:1-4

In the Old Testament, Daddy God had trained His people to become brave warriors. He commanded them to fight the other nations that are serving false gods. He commanded them to utterly destroy their enemies. The Israelites won because they have Daddy God who fought for them. But many times, the Israelites disobeyed God. And whenever they disobeyed Him, they were defeated by their enemies. We must learn from the lives of the Israelites. The Lord will give us great victory but HE requires us to hold on to Him. Daddy God will be with us and will fight for us if we remain in Him, if we follow His ways and if we are being obedient.

7 “I will recount the steadfast love of the LORD, the praises of the LORD, according to all that the LORD has granted us, and the great goodness to the house of Israel that he has granted them according to his compassion, according to the abundance of his steadfast love. 8 For he said, “Surely they are my people, children who will not deal falsely.” And he became their Savior. 9 In all their affliction he was afflicted, and the angel of his presence saved them; in his love and in his pity he redeemed them; he lifted them up and carried them all the days of old. 10 But they rebelled and grieved his Holy Spirit; therefore he turned to be their enemy, and himself fought against them.” Isaiah 63:7-10

The Israelites fought their enemies in a physical combat and we Christians are also in a battle and we are fighting our enemies in a spiritual combat. Satan and his subordinates are strong but our God who is with us is much stronger. Daddy God will be with us and He will also fight for us the way He fought for the Israelites. But there are conditions. We must remain in Him and be obedient always. We must avoid committing any sin because if we do, the enemy will have an opportunity to defeat us. Every sin committed is an open door for Satan. Daddy God requires us to walk in all His ways and to follow His commandments.

“For though we walk in the flesh, we are not waging war according to the flesh. 4 For the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh but have divine power to destroy strongholds.” 2 Corinthians 10:3-4

“For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the cosmic powers over this present darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places.” Ephesians 6:12

In the Old Testament, when the Israelites were enslaved by their enemies, they remember God who brought them up out of Egypt and they cried out to Him and prayed for deliverance. Daddy God, who is ever faithful and loving and merciful, came to rescue His people. He delivered them from their enemies. But sadly, the Israelites disobeyed God again and provoked Him to anger by serving other gods and doing the abominable things of the other nations. So He strengthened the other nations in order to defeat them.

“Their Redeemer is strong; the LORD of hosts is his name. He will surely plead their cause, that he may give rest to the earth, but unrest to the inhabitants of Babylon.”Jeremiah 50:34

“I myself will fight against you with outstretched hand and strong arm, in anger and in fury and in great wrath.” Jeremiah 21:5

42 “And the LORD said to me, ‘Say to them, Do not go up or fight, for I am not in your midst, lest you be defeated before your enemies.”  Deuteronomy 1:42

It is the same for us. If we cry out to God and humble ourselves before Him, He will help us and deliver us. But we must not follow the wicked ways of the Israelites before. We must not repeat disobeying God. In the New Testament, whenever Jesus healed a man, He told them to sin no more. We must not sin again after God had delivered us. We must fight every temptation which is the scheme of the devil. The enemy comes to steal, kill and destroy. We must become brave warriors of the Lord of Hosts. God had given us armors and we must use it to defeat our enemies. He had given us the helmet of salvation, breastplate of righteousness, belt of truth, shoes of the gospel of peace, shield of faith and sword of the Spirit. It is not the time to slumber or be weak. Rise up! Warriors of the Living God and go possess the land that our enemy have stolen from us. Our nations, our family, and our friends are still enslaved by Satan. We cannot save them if we are becoming afraid and weak. How many of us can pray for long hours until we are exhausted for our family, friends and for our nation? We must be willing to lay down our lives for JESUS. We must be willing to fight the spiritual battle. Through the process of spiritual warfare, we are tested and tried and we are learning to trust and depend on the Lord. The brave warriors of the Lord should not give up until they see the results. We must strengthen ourselves in the Lord. We must fight the good fight, keep our faith and finish the race

“Hammer your plowshares into swords, your sickles into spears! Let the weak say: I am a warrior! And the meek: I too will fight!” Joel 3:10

“I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith.” 2 Timothy 4:7

Fight the good fight of the faith. Take hold of the eternal life to which you were called and about which you made the good confession in the presence of many witnesses.” 1 Timothy 6:12

“Share in suffering as a good soldier of Christ Jesus. 4 No soldier gets entangled in civilian pursuits, since his aim is to please the one who enlisted him.” 2 Timothy 2:3-4

Those who teach will be judge with greater strictness

1 “Not many of you should become teachers, my brothers, for you know that we who teach will be judged with greater strictness. 2 For we all stumble in many ways. And if anyone does not stumble in what he says, he is a perfect man, able also to bridle his whole body.” 1 James 3:1-2

Many want to be teachers and leaders of the church. In the Bible, it is said that teachers will be judged strictly. Even we have the sincere desire to become a teacher or a leader, and the desire to lead the lost, if we are not appointed by God; we are not fit to be teachers or leaders.

While praying, Daddy God had told me that the reason why there were many differences of beliefs in His church is because many do not preach the pure unadulterated Word of God. This is also the reason why many are spiritually sick in our church and many were not able to overcome and live in holiness. Many teachers or leaders are corrupting and watering down the gospel for the sake of pleasing the church members. It breaks the heart of Daddy God. In a vision He had showed me a shepherd who is leading a flock in a valley where there was no enough grass to eat. And the sheep were all malnourished. This is the condition of many churches today.

“3 For the time is coming when people will not endure sound teaching, but having itching ears they will accumulate for themselves teachers to suit their own passions,” 2 Timothy 4:3

1 “But false prophets also arose among the people, just as there will be false teachers among you, who will secretly bring in destructive heresies, even denying the Master who bought them, bringing upon themselves swift destruction.” 2 Peter 2:1

The teachers or leaders of the church must always be careful in preaching God’s Word. Their wisdom must not just come from what they have learned from theology schools but from God. Daddy God said that if we corrupt the gospel the saving power of it would be weaken and it will result to more unsaved souls. Many try compromise, but if we are a true Christian, we should never do this for we must fear the Lord. The teachers or leaders must preach 100% of God’s Word even many will view it negatively. Many are preaching the positive aspects only. They only preach God’s mercy and God’s wonderful promises. They avoid preaching the cost of being a true Christian and what it is like to carry the cross.

God’s Word is like a sword, and it will cause pain to the carnal men. It will show man exactly what he is. It will cut off the things which are evil. We are all like a tree and Daddy God is cutting the diseased part so that we may grow and bear more fruits.

“For the word of God is living and active, sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing to the division of soul and of spirit, of joints and of marrow, and discerning the thoughts and intentions of the heart.” Hebrews 4:12

“and my speech and my message were not in plausible words of wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power, 5 that your faith might not rest in the wisdom of men but in the power of God.” 1 Corinthians 2:4-5

The teachers or leaders should preach the pure Word of God out of pure motives and with all humility. Many want to gain praise from men than to gain praise from God. Those who preach should do it for the glory of God and not for their glory. Many want to be popular and they teach things that tend to please everyone.

The teacher or leader with a divine wisdom from God is the one who is living a good life and is following the teaching and commandments of Jesus. That person will not boast of his wisdom. Many of the teachers and leaders of today are attacking each other and are often defensive. They wanted to prove that they are the one who’s right and they don’t want to be corrected. If we don’t want to be corrected by others, how can we be corrected by God?

“if you are sure that you yourself are a guide to the blind, a light to those who are in darkness, 20 an instructor of the foolish, a teacher of children, having in the law the embodiment of knowledge and truth— 21 you then who teach others, do you not teach yourself? While you preach against stealing, do you steal? 22 You who say that one must not commit adultery, do you commit adultery? You who abhor idols, do you rob temples? 23 You who boast in the law dishonor God by breaking the law.” Romans 2:19-23

There is a greater judgment that is coming for all those who does not preach the pure Word of God. Daddy God will require from them the blood of those sheep that have been torn and scattered. Those appointed by God should tend, care for, and provide spiritual food for God’s people. Jesus loves His flocks and the appointed shepherd must love the flock as well. If they say that they love Jesus, then they must show it by feeding His lambs and His sheep.

“So I exhort the elders among you, as a fellow elder and a witness of the sufferings of Christ, as well as a partaker in the glory that is going to be revealed: 2 shepherd the flock of God that is among you, exercising oversight, not under compulsion, but willingly, as God would have you; not for shameful gain, but eagerly; 3 not domineering over those in your charge, but being examples to the flock. 4 And when the chief Shepherd appears, you will receive the unfading crown of glory.” 1 Peter 5:1-4
